Two giants of professional sports met face-to-face at the Big Apple as LA Lakers star Luka Doncic caught up with American League MVP and New York Yankees star outfielder Aaron Judge.

The meeting was part of Doncic’s promotion for Jordan Brand’s “The One,” a global 1-on-1 tournament designed to crown the best solo player in the world.

Despite being sidelined with a flexor strain in his right elbow, Judge made his way to the field to connect with the Slovenian star.

In the spirit of their shared Jordan Brand affiliation, Doncic signed a pair of his signature Jordan Luka 1 "NY vs. NY" basketball shoes for Judge.

The Yankees slugger returned the favor and gifted the multi-time All-Star with a game-used bat and an autographed pair of his exclusive Air Jordan 1 Low "Double Gum" cleats.

The two also shared a snap with fellow Jordan Brand athlete and Judge’s teammate Jazz Chisholm, Jr.

Recently, the 26-year-old basketball wizard has been in the spotlight after appearing on the cover of Men’s Health to discuss his offseason body transformation.

Doncic appeared to have shed weight and added muscle—a change that bodes well for the Lakers if he can maintain this level of commitment throughout the season.

Meanwhile, the Yankees suffered a 4-2 defeat to the Tampa Bay Rays on the day Doncic visited, as New York sits in second place in the AL East with a 58-49 record.

Last season, Judge led the Yankees to their first World Series appearance since 2009 but lost in five games to the LA Dodgers.
