The more, the merrier.

All 30 teams were in action in a loaded game day around the Association where several teams kept their winning streaks alive, while others eked out victories in the clutch, plus actually many more.

  • OKC Thunder (7-0) def. Orlando Magic (3-5), 102-86: Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander combined for 44 points and the Thunder also kept their spotless campaign intact after powering through past the skidding Magic.

  • In Seventh Heaven: Make it seventh straight win for the Thunder, who led by as many as 26 points in a wire-to-wire victory.

The Thunder now became the first team in league history to win their first seven contests of the season by 10 points or more.

  • Golden State Warriors (6-1) def. Washington Wizards (2-4), 125-112: Stephen Curry returned from a three-game absence to help the Warriors win their fifth straight at the expense of former teammate Jordan Poole and the Wizards.

  • Brothers For Life: Playing on a minutes restriction, Curry dropped 16 of his 24 points in the second half, while Buddy Hield once again lit up the offense from the bench with 20 markers.

The former MVP then shared a moment with Poole as the two hugged after the game. Poole had 24 points to lead the Wizards.

Tallying his third game of the season scoring 30 points or more, Durant became just the fifth player in league history to record 700 career 25-point games.

George had 15 points on 4-of-14 shooting in a rough Sixers debut after missing the first five games of the season due to a knee injury.

KINGS, NUGGETS, NETS RECORD PULSATING WINS

  • Casual Joker night, Clamped-down Brodie: Jokic tallied 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists in another all-around the game. Five other Nuggets scored in double figures despite the absence of Jamal Murray.

Russell Westbrook, who was inserted to the starting line-up in place of Murray, played perhaps his most efficient night for the Nuggets with 21 points on just 10 shots and the stifling defense against RJ Barrett in the final possession of the game.
