With two gamedays left in the 2024-25 NBA regular season, and there is still plenty for grabs in terms of playoff seeding in both the Eastern and Western Conferences respectively.
BUCKS, PACERS STAY HOT; TWOLVES KEEP FIGHT FOR PLAYOFF SPOT
- Milwaukee Bucks (46-34) def. New Orleans Pelicans (21-59), 136-111: Giannis Antetokounmpo continued his dominating ways, posting a 28-point, 11-rebound double-double that extended the Bucks winning streak to six games.
As Indiana already secured home-court advantage, Milwaukee needs to win one of two games over the Detroit Pistons to lock up the East fifth seed.
- Indiana Pacers (49-31) def. Cleveland Cavaliers (63-17), 114-112: Tyrese Haliburton and surging Pacers clinched playoff home court advantage for the first time in 11 years, eking out the undermined Cavaliers in thriller.
With another victory and New York’s loss, Indiana can still end up as the East third seed if the stars aligned. It can happen if the Pacers sweep their remaining two games, and the Knicks somehow drop theirs.

Simply put, Detroit can finish as the East fifth seed if the Pistons manage to beat the Milwaukee Bucks twice in their last two games.
- Atlanta Hawks (38-42) def. Brooklyn Nets (26-54), 133-109: Zaccharie Risacher went off with a career-high 38 points built on six threes, guiding a strong 24-point Hawks domination of the lowly Nets.
