Tyrese Haliburton delivered the goods and the Indiana Pacers won six straight games. They still have a chance to move up to the East no. 3 spot.

Tyrese Haliburton finished with 23 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds to spearhead a clutch 114-112 Indiana Pacers escape over the undermanned Cleveland Cavaliers for a sixth-straight victory, Friday, April 11.

It marked the 32nd double-double of the season for Haliburton, who ignited via a personal 8-0 spurt for 115-107 lead with 3:08 to play in regulation.

Cleveland clawed back late and even had a chance to win or send the game to overtime, but Jaylon Tyson's turnaround shot clunked out as time expired.

With the win, the Pacers (49-31) clinched home court advantage in the playoffs and could even overtake the Knicks (50-30) for the third seed in the East.

That will be a reality if Indiana manages to win its last two games and hopes New York — which just lost to the Detroit Pistons earlier — drops its game.

Meanwhile, Ty Jerome paced the Cavs with 24 points as the East no. 1 squad missed four starters in Darius Garland (left toe sprain), Donovan Mitchell (left ankle sprain), Evan Mobley (rest), and Max Strus (right knee contusion).

Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson even got ejected late in the third frame after arguing for a foul call on Tristan Thompson.

Indiana hosts the Orlando Magic (40-40) next while Cleveland travels to New York to slug it out with the Knicks (50-29).
