  • Las Vegas Aces (19-14) def. New York Liberty (21-12), 83-77: In a battle between the last two WNBA champions, the Aces extended their winning streak to five games after beating the Liberty.

A’ja Wilson followed her historic 32-point, 20-rebound game with another dominant double-double, posting 17 points and 16 rebounds to help Las Vegas climb to the no. 5 spot in the standings.

  • Atlanta Dream (21-11) def. Seattle Storm (16-17), 85-75: Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray combined for 47 points and the red-hot Dream racked up their sixth straight win, overcoming the Storm on the road.

With yet another win, Atlanta leapfrogged the defending champion Liberty to occupy the no. 2 spot in the team standings after New York’s loss against the Aces earlier.

  • Golden State Valkyries (17-15) def. Washington Mystics (14-18), 88-83: Veronica Burton recorded the first-ever 30-point game in Valkyries history, pacing Golden State to a third successive win.

Burton also made a career-high six three-pointers, while the team set a single-game franchise record with 15 made threes, improving to 3-0 in their season series against the Mystics.

  • Connecticut Sun (6-26) def. Chicago Sky (8-24), 71-62: In a battle between the cellar-dweller teams, the Sun took down the Sky to snap a five-game slide.

Leila Lacan topscored Connecticut with 17 points and helped set the Sky reeling to their 12th loss in their last 13 games.
