DMX, who produced the songs “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” and “Party Up (Up in Here),” died at age 50.

NBA players are paying their respects after Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist DMX, whose birth name was Earl Simmons, died at 50.

The news was announced Saturday (PHT) in a family statement.

Teams and players across the NBA, including the New York Knicks and LeBron James, offered their appreciation of the late rapper and actor.
