Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is not gracing the NBA 2K26 cover alone.
NBA legend Carmelo Anthony and Chicago Sky's Angel Reese join the reigning regular-season and Finals MVP in forming a star-studded trio on the cover of the iconic video game.
On Thursday, Gilgeous-Alexander was unveiled as the face of the game's Standard edition, following one of the most historic and dominant individual seasons the league has ever seen.

Joining him on the cover is Anthony, whose long and storied career earned him a spot on the ‘Superstar' edition. The 41-year-old, who played 19 seasons in the NBA and earned 10 All-Star selections.
The 10th all-time leading scorer in league history, Anthony’s impact on the game — including three Olympic gold medals and six All-NBA selections to name a few — is undeniable.
Meanwhile, Reese takes center stage on the NBA 2K26 WNBA edition. The Sky forward made an immediate impact in her rookie season in leading the league in rebounding and earning both All-Rookie and All-Star honors last year.
The 23-year-old out of LSU joins the ranks of champions A'ja Wilson, Sabrina Ionescu, Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, and Candace Parker as WNBA stars to grace the cover since the game introduced the WNBA edition three years ago.
All three players also joined forces and graced the 'Leave No Doubt' edition.
The NBA 2K series has long celebrated the sport by featuring a current NBA player, a current WNBA player, and a basketball legend on separate covers. Last year, the game showcased A'ja Wilson, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, and Hall of Famer Vince Carter.
