Anthony Edwards led the way with 34 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.
The Minnesota Timberwolves built a 30-point lead in the first quarter to hand the Portland Trail Blazers their sixth straight loss, 128-91, earlier on Friday, Philippine time. Anthony Edwards led the charge with 34 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and two steals.

Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 23 points and eight rebounds while Jaden McDaniels tallied 17 points. Mike Conley and Monte Morris finished with 12 apiece.

The Western Conference-leading Timberwolves led 44-14 after one quarter against the Trail Blazers, which was the most lopsided first quarter in the whole NBA this season.

It was also the second-biggest point differential in any quarter in the Twolves' history.

The Wolves also struck down Portland last Tuesday with a 121-109 victory.

Jerami Grant led the Trail Blazers with 20 points, and he was also responsible for getting them within single digits in the third quarter. However, the Timberwolves were on fire on offense tonight and quickly responded with a 14-4 run of their own.

The Timberwolves pulled away and extended the lead to 112-81 midway through the final period, which made it difficult for Portland to catch up to.

Scoot Henderson scored 15 points alongside six assists, while Toumani Camara and Anfernee Simons scored 13 and 12 markers respectively.

Minnesota retained its hold on the top seed of the West with a 39-16 record, while Portland slid further to 15-39 as the 14th team in the same conference.
