What went down

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Devin Booker dueled in the early morning today with SGA’s OKC Thunder outlasting Booker's Phoenix Suns.

Booker scored 11 of his 46 points while Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 10 of his 40 in the fourth quarter. The pair dueled, but it was OKC that provided SGA enough support to overcome the Suns’ eight-point lead in the fourth.

Isaiah Joe had 15 points off the OKC bench while Lu Dort drilled four triples and finished with 20 points. The Suns, still without Kevin Durant and Deandre Ayton, got 14 points and 13 assists from Chris Paul. It’s been rough for the newly formed super team lately, dropping four of their last five games.

OKC, on the other hand, is making a run at the sixth seed and a guaranteed spot in the playoffs. The Thunder are sitting at eighth place with a 35-36 record, just a game behind the sixth-place Dallas Mavericks.

Big-time baller

Speaking of the sixth seed in the West, the Los Angeles Lakers stayed in the hunt, thanks to a career game from Austin Reaves.

Facing an Orlando Magic team with nothing to lose and with Anthony Davis struggling from the field, the Lakers got a massive boost from Reaves. Country Kobe drilled 16 of his 18 free throws and finished with a career-high 35 points with six boards and six assists.

With a 35-37 record, the Lakers are now tied with the Minnesota Timeberwolves and Utah Jazz at the bottom of the play-in race.

Giannis Antetokounmpo also had quite a day. He got a triple-double of 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, and made all nine of his shots as he led the East-leading Milwaukee Bucks to a win over the Toronto Raptors.

What he said

Dillon Brooks is getting exactly what he wanted: extreme reactions from the Golden State Warriors.

Yesterday after Klay Thompson was shown telling Brooks how many rings he has, Thompson came back earlier today with some spicy quotes about Brooks.

Did you see that?

Michael Porter Jr. posterized an MVP candidate… his teammate Nikola Jokic.

Was he remorseful? Apparently not.
