What went down
We got a heated ending to the Los Angeles Lakers-Boston Celtics game as the L.A. squad was furious after match officials did not call a foul on a potential game-winning layup by LeBron James, which ultimately allowed their rivals to snatch a 125-121 overtime win.

With the game tied at 105-all and 4.1 seconds left of regulation, James attempted to drive through contact. The whole Lakers team was shocked by the non-call and how the officials ignored their appeals. Patrick Beverley even received a technical foul after bringing a photographer’s camera to the referees for proof of a foul.

''The best player on earth can't get a call. It's amazing,'' Lakers coach Darvin Ham said. ''As much as you try not to put it on the officiating, it's becoming increasingly difficult.''
Jaylen Brown finished with 37, including a tying three-point play with 4.1 seconds left in regulation, and 11 points in overtime to help the Celtics snap their three-game losing skid. Tatum had 30 points and 11 rebounds while Malcolm Brogdon contributed to the win with his own 26 points.
James put up 41 points in the matchup, alongside nine rebounds and eight assists. His missed layup at the end of regulation and the non-call left him enraged on the court and simmering in the locker room afterward.
Anthony Davis came off the bench and had 16 points and 10 boards, while Beverley scored 15, twice giving the Lakers the lead in the final minute of the fourth quarter.

Kyrie Irving meanwhile scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to help the Brooklyn Nets hold off a late Knicks comeback and secure the victory. Another leader for his team is Kawhi Leonard, scoring 32 points as the Los Angeles Clippers snag their fifth sconsecutive win at the expense of the Atlanta Hawks, 120-113.
