What went down

The Milwaukee Bucks had no problem toppling the short-handed Miami Heat, 123-115, on Saturday night for their seventh consecutive win. The player who led the squad was none other than Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with a triple-double of 35 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Milwaukee led almost the entire way but the Heat eventually caught up to them during the late 92-all tie in the third quarter. The Bucks then rallied to a 10-0 run to take the lead, which Miami never quite recovered from.

Their key players Giannis and Khris Middleton both missed Milwaukee’s previous two matches against the Heat this season, which both ended in Bucks losses. However, the pair definitely made up for their earlier absences as Giannis recorded his third triple-double of the season and Middleton scored a career-high 24 points.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler helped keep Miami within striking distance, providing a team-high 32 points in the contest. Tyler Herro chipped in with 24 points while Bam Adebayo put up a double-double of 16 points and 11 boards.

The big win for Milwaukee gives them nine wins out of 10 matches, marking their best stretch since opening the season with a 9-0 record.

Big-time ballers

Brandon Ingram led the way as the New Orleans Pelicans completed a comeback win at home versus the Los Angeles Lakers. The win came big for them since it finally snapped the Pelicans’ 10-game losing skid.

Speaking of important wins, we also have Draymond Green stuffing the stat sheet as the Golden State Warriors held on for the win at Oracle Arena. The big guy recorded 17 points, alongside nine rebounds and nine assists.

Jamal Murray was also hooping tonight with a season-high 41 points that included seven 3-pointers and seven assists in the Nuggets win.

What he said

“Cam is that kind of guy that once he get into that type of rhythm, you just gotta let him go.”

Cam Thomas recorded a career-high 44 points off the bench for the Brooklyn Nets after erasing a 23-point deficit against the Wizards.

After scoring his own personal career-high of 29 points, Edmond Sumner expressed his happiness with the victory and his teammate Cam's performance.

The Warriors’ ball movement gets a lot of praise and it’s easy to see why they do. Look at this clip demonstrating their awesome chemistry on the floor, with Green finding Steph Curry in the corner to knock down the easy trey.
