Suddenly, Golden State’s title aspirations are in peril.

Fortunately for the Warriors, they have one more game to keep their season alive.

“I like our chances. I’ve seen what this group can do over the years… Game 7’s are special,” head coach Steve Kerr spoke in the aftermath of Golden State’s 117-107 loss at home to the Houston Rockets in Game 6.

After taking a commanding 3-1 series lead, the Warriors lost back-to-back close-out games and were left with no choice but to do it the hard way.

Game 7 is back in Houston on Monday (PH time), May 5.

Stephen Curry topscored the Warriors with 29 points spiked on six threes, but he committed five turnovers overall as Golden State couldn’t get a basket when needed the most.

They shot a measly 8-for-24 from the field in the final frame, including missing 13 straight shots at one point.

With Golden State struggling, Houston capitalized on the opportunity to turn a slim 86-84 lead entering the fourth into a whopping 106-89 gap with under five minutes left to play.

However, the two-time MVP is confident that the Warriors will get the job done on the road.

“A possession here, a possession there, it’s not just the points on the board, it’s a feeling, it’s a vibe, it’s a morale, it’s momentum,” Curry bared.

He added: “You’ve got to dig deep to win these types of games. Thankfully we have an opportunity to go do it. Very confident that we can do it.”

Jimmy Butler, who posted 27 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in 42 minutes, echoed his superstar teammate on Golden State’s chances in a win-or-go-home contest on the road.

“I think we just know how important it is. They do too, though. On the road, backs against the wall, I think this is why you play this game,” Butler said of the Warriors' mentality heading into Game 7.

The 35-year-old also insisted that he isn't worried whatsoever on Golden State’s confidence, asserting it’s at “an all-time high” and is not “wavering.”

Golden State is 6-5 all-time in Game 7s, winning three of their last four. Houston, meanwhile, holds a 7-5 slate.

“We’ll be fine, we’ve just got to continue to make the right play, time after time after time,” Butler told reporters.

“I think we just know how important it is. They do too, though. On the road, backs against the wall, I think this is why you play this game,” the multiple-time All-Star said of Golden State’s mentality heading into a Game 7 on the road.
