There’s no doubt that Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter the game has ever seen.

And this season, the four-time champion emerged as the best teammate, too.

Curry won the 2024-25 NBA Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year award for the first time ever, adding another milestone to his legendary career.

He earned 66 first-place votes for a total of 1,257 points to earn the distinction given to the “player deemed the best teammate based on selfless play, on- and off-court leadership as a mentor and role model to other NBA players, and commitment and dedication to the team.”

Curry narrowly edged Rockets big man Steven Adam (1,237) to become the first Warriors to win the award since its inception in the 2012-13 season.

Bucks’ Jrue Holiday (2020, 2022, 2023) and Minnesota’s Mike Conley (2019, 2024) are the multiple-time winners of the award.

The two-time league MVP logged 24.5 points, six assists, and 4.4 rebounds in 70 regular season games in his 16th year, leading the Warriors to a 48-34 record and the no. 7 seed in the stacked Western Conference.

Golden State is currently battling the Houston Rockets in Game 4 of their West first-round series, with the Warriors holding a 2-1 lead.
