Down by 11 in the fourth quarter, OKC tightened the screws on defense, limiting Minnesota to just 14 points in the final frame.
With the Thunnder back, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander would push OKC ahead, drilling the go-ahead three-pointer with 1:14 left.

In a dramatic ending, Lu Dort fouled Anthony Edwards on a three-point attempt with 3.5 seconds to go. Edwards, however, missed all three free throws.
Jalen Williams went perfect on his attempts on the other end, sealing the win for Oklahoma City.
Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder in the win with 33 points on 12-of-13 shooting from the free throw line. He also had six assists.
Meanwhile, Edwards had 19 points, five rebounds, and five assists for Minnesota.
Despite the loss, the Timberwolves remain at the top of the Western Conference with a 30-12 record. The Thunder gain a full game and are closing in with a 29-13 mark.
