His 19-point production in the first half allowed the Rockets a comfortable 55-43 lead at halftime. The Hornets couldn’t get their shots up, allowing the Rockets to take control for the rest of the matchup.
Green got a lot of help for their second half demolition as the young Cam Whitmore scored 24 points, including four 3-pointers.

Fred VanVleet also put up 14 points for the Rockets, while Alperen Sengun supplied 11 points and seven assists.
Miles Bridges paced the Hornets with 21 markers and LaMelo Ball followed it up with 15 in the loss.
