Harrison Barnes scored 39 points, with seven baskets from beyond the arc.

The beam has been lit in the California edition of Rivals Week.

The Sacramento Kings survived their neighbors Golden State Warriors behind a career-high 39 points from Harrison Barnes, 134-133.

Barnes was special tonight after making 14-of-24 field goals and 7-of-13 shots beyond the arc on his former team.

The two teams were neck-and-neck for the most part, but the wild ending was pretty nice to watch.

A dish from Draymond Green to the soaring Jonathan Kuminga gave the Warriors their first lead since the second quarter.

However, the Kings quickly responded with their own sweet assist by Kevin Huerter to Domantas Sabonis for the go-ahead dunk with 22 seconds left.

The Warriors, in a desperate attempt to get closer, then fouled Huerter who missed both free throws. Golden State relied on Curry in the last few seconds but he lost the ball as De’Aaron Fox was able to clamp down the two-time MVP, preventing a game-winning attempt.

Sacramento saw Fox put up another impressive performance with 29 markers, along with a steal and a block. Sabonis, who made the slam which gave them the win, chipped in 18 points and 13 assists.

Curry racked up 33 points, while Kuminga came off the bench and produced 31 points. Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson provided 17 and 16 points respectively.

The Kings improve to 25-18 as seventh in the Eastern Conference, while the Warriors drop to 19-23 as 12th.
