It appears free agent swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. will be joining his fourth team in as many seasons.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports was the first to report that the Charlotte Hornets reached an agreement on a multiyear deal with Oubre, who averaged 15.4 points and 6.0 rebounds in 55 games with the Golden State Warriors last season.
Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Oubre’s contract will be worth more than $26 million over two years.
Oubre, 25, would add length and athleticism to a Hornets rotation that needs wing depth after losing Devonte’ Graham and Malik Monk during free agency.
Drafted No. 15 by the Atlanta Hawks then traded to the Washington Wizards on Draft night in 2015, Oubre has career averages of 11.5 points and 4.4 rebounds.
