Veteran small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. will reportedly sign a one-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday.
Oubre, 27, is coming off a career season in which he averaged 20.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in 48 appearances with the Charlotte Hornets. Having previously played for Washington, Phoenix and Golden State, Oubre is averaging 12.8 points per game through eight NBA seasons.
He joins a Sixers squad looking to get over the hump after losing in the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs in each of the past three seasons.
