One major Woj Bomb incoming.
Former NBA senior insider Adrian Wojnarowski on Friday revealed he is battling prostate cancer--a struggle he was facing even before his sudden retirement from sports journalism three months ago.

In an interview with Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, Wojnarowski admitted that the line in his retirement post that read "Time isn't in endless supply" is referring to his diagnosis with the Big C.
“That was about the cancer,” Wojnarowsi bared to Mannix while also sharing that he was diagnosed with the disease back in March.
However, the current general manager of the St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team insisted that the disease is not the primary reason he ended his career as sports journalist.
Rather, it was there’s more to life than breaking basketball news on a daily basis.
“In the end, it’s just going to be your family and close friends. Nobody remembers (breaking stories) in the end. It’s just vapor," the 55-year-old told SI.
Known for his “Woj Bombs,” Wojnarowski carved out a storied journalism career highlighted by breaking news about NBA trades, injuries, and signings before and perhaps better than anyone else in the sports media industry.

After this shocking revelation, Woj expressed gratitude to everyone who wished him well and gave an assurance that he will be fine.
"My goal in sharing a prostate cancer diagnosis is to encourage screening and testing among men. Early diagnosis will make all the difference for me — and many others too," he added in a tweet.
Appreciate all the kind words and concern but I’m going to be fine. My goal in sharing a prostate cancer diagnosis is to encourage screening and testing among men. Early diagnosis will make all the difference for me —- and many others too.
