Michael Porter Jr. and the red-hot Denver Nuggets swept the season series against previous Finals opponent Miami Heat. The defending champions are 10-1 after the All-Star break.

MPJ is averaging 27.5 points per game this season against the Heat.
Michael Porter Jr. scored 25 points and Aaron Gordon added 16, as the defending champion Nuggets rolled to their fourth-straight win behind a 100-88 victory over the Heat in the NBA Finals rematch. Porter Jr. added seven rebounds and five triples in 34 minutes of play. The 14th overall pick of the 2018 NBA draft scored 15 points already in the first half, including a long three-pointer midway through the second period.

He ran hot in the right time, as Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic had limited baskets.

Jamal Murray scored 14 points but made just five of his 14 shots. Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic was limited to 12 markers, but had 14 rebounds and six assists.

Denver outscored Miami, 28-17, in the final frame to finally put the Heat to rest.

The Nuggets rode the hot hands of Reggie Jackson, who had a personal 7-0 run late in the fourth, to build a double-digit lead, 94-84, with 3:38 seconds left en route to victory.

Bam Adebayo led the way for the Erik Spoelstra-mentored squad with a double-double outing of 17 points and 13 rebounds. Jimmy Butler added 15 markers of his own as the reigning Eastern Conference champs absorbed their fourth straight loss.

The Heat, who played without second leading scorer Tyler Herro for the ninth straight game due to a right foot tendinitis, last led at 71-67 courtesy of a Thomas Bryant bucket with 1:18 left in the third canto.

Denver (46-20) now holds a half-game lead over the second-running Oklahoma City Thunder (45-20) atop of the West and a full game over the Minnesota Timberwolves (45-21).

Miami, on the other hand, slid down to a 35-30 record, one game behind the Indiana Pacers (37-30) for the seventh spot in the East.
