The Suns' veteran point guard can't continue after suffering the injury in the 3rd quarter on Monday.

Suns point guard Chris Paul exited Phoenix’s 97-87 Game 2 loss at Denver on Monday with left groin tightness. He appeared to suffer the injury in the third quarter while boxing out for a defensive rebound.

Paul immediately began limping and promptly left for the locker room before ultimately being ruled out for the rest of the game.

Paul exited with eight points, five rebounds and six assists in 25 minutes of action, with Phoenix having outscored Denver by eight while he was on the floor.

The fourth-seeded Suns now rail top-seeded Denver 2-0 as the Western Conference semifinal series shifts to Phoenix for Game 3 on Friday (10 ET, ESPN).
