If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander posted 27 points as the OKC Thunder rolled past Memphis Grizzlies in Game 2, 118-99, to take a commanding 2-0 series lead in their West opening round showdown, Wednesday (PH time), April 23.

Despite a rough shooting (10/29) outing, SGA added seven rebounds and five assists with the series now shifting to Memphis for Games 3 and 4.

The Thunder stuck anew on what worked for them in a 151-80 blowout in the series opener: play defense, force the Grizzlies to commit mistakes, and run.

It worked wonders as OKC held Memphis to under 100 points for the second straight game, converted 15 Grizzlies turnovers to 25 points, and held a whopping 21-3 advantage in fast break points.

Jalen Williams added 24 markers while Chet Holmgren chipped in a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double for the Thunder.

Meanwhile, Jaren Jackson Jr. paced the Grizzlies with 26 points while Ja Morant contributed 23 markers.

Desmond Bane put up a double-double outing of 19 markers and 12 boards as the Grizzlies continued to search answers down 0-2 in the series.
