Before seeing action at the All-Star Game, Victor Wembanyama, Donovan Mitchell, and Evan Mobley will headline a revamped Skills Challenge event.
This year’s edition will feature four teams of two, instead of three squads, with a mixture of veterans and young stars showcasing their elite ball handling and shooting in the fastest time possible.
Wembanyama teams up Chris Paul to represent Team Spurs, while Mitchell links up with Mobley to headline Team Cavs. Zaccharie Risacher and Alex Sarr, the top two picks from the recent NBA Draft compose the rookie team, as Draymond Green and Moses Moody make up Team Warriors.

Green and Moody have a chance to duplicate the trend of hometown players ruling the event in the past three years.
Last year, Myles Turner, Benedict Mathurin and Tyrese Haliburton of Team Pacers won the title in front of the hometown crowd in Indianapolis.
Team Jazz, comprising Jordan Clarkson, Walker Kessler, and Collin Sexton took home the hardware in 2023 in Salt Lake City.
Before that Mobley, alongside Garland and Jarret Allen, also reigned supreme in the event in 2022 in Cleveland.
Wemby will team up with Skills Challenge veteran in Paul, who will be competing in for the sixth time in the event and the first since 2021. He first participated in the event in 2006.
The 2025 Skills Challenge will take part in the annual NBA All-Star Saturday Night alongside the Three-Point shootout and the Slam Dunk contest.
