- Hollywood’s triple trouble: Davis continued his sizzling start to the season with 31 points, returning after missing one game due to a sore heel. It was his sixth 30-point game of the season.
James added his second triple-double of the season and 114th overall with 21 markers, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists as he became the first Laker to record those numbers since Magic Johnson.

It was also Cunningham’s fifth career-triple double, tied for second most in Pistons history with legendary point guard Isiah Thomas.

The 23-year-old had 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists as he and his father, six-time champion Scottie Pippen, became the first father-son tandem in history to record a triple-double.

- Orlando Magic (4-6) def. New Orleans Pelicans (3-7), 115-88: The Magic snapped a five-game skid following a 27-point trashing of the Pelicans, who suffered their fourth straight setback.
- New York Knicks (4-4) def. Milwaukee Bucks (2-7), 116-94: Karl-Anthony Towns registered his third 30-point, 10-rebound game of the season to steer the Knicks past the Bucks in MSG.
