Once Anthony Davis is back on the fold and with LeBron James doing what he does best, the Los Angeles Lakers are back on the winning track just like that.
Davis returned after a one-game absence and dominated anew, while James collected his second triple-double of the season in a much-needed 116-106 victory against the reeling Philadelphia 76ers.

The superstar big man went loose, dropping a team-high 31 points with nine rebounds and four blocks in his first game back after missing LA’s last outing against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a sore heel.
Davis made his presence felt early with a 15-point first quarter and already reached the 20 markers at the break.

James posted his 114th career trip-dub in the regular season behind a 21-point, 12-rebound, and 13-assist outing. Austin Reaves added 20 markers, six boards, and six dimes on six threes while D’Angelo Russell, who came off the bench, poured 18.

With the game already decided, Bronny James checked into the final 1:28 of the game in a game where the Lakers hit both season highs in threes (16) and blocks (13).
On the other hand, Jared McCain paced Philadelphia with 18 points while Guerschon Yabusele added 14. Andre Drummond posted a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double.
Paul George only scored nine points on a 4-of-13 shooting as the multiple-time All-Star remained winless as a Sixer.
The woes keep piling to the Philadelphia, who dropped its fourth straight and now tied for the worst record in the league with the Utah Jazz (1-7).
Besides star big man Joel Embiid yet to play this season due to “knee management,” Philadelphia is expected to miss their cat-quick guard Tyrese Maxey for a couple of weeks due to right hamstring injury. Maxey sustained that in a 110-98 loss against the Clippers in their last outing.
They will try to end their skid against the Charlotte Hornets (4-5) while the Lakers take on Toronto Raptors (2-7) next.
