Tyrese Haliburton is easing back into form.
Three months after tearing his Achilles tendon, the Indiana Pacers star was spotted at the team’s practice facility and putting up shots in a video posted on the franchise’s official X account.
The biggest change: the All-NBA guard is no longer wearing a walking boot. Though limited to stationary shooting, the session marked a significant step in his recovery.

Despite the setback, the Pacers’ run was historic — reaching their first Finals since 2000 and ousting Milwaukee, top-seeded Cleveland, and New York along the way.
The 25-year-old underwent surgery shortly after the injury and is expected to miss the entire 2025-26 season. He averaged 17.3 points, 8.6 assists, and 5.3 rebounds in 23 playoff games, delivering clutch performances that fueled Indiana’s Cinderella run.
He was last seen hosting his second annual basketball clinic in his hometown of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, still wearing a walking boot.
“I’m walking in my boot, getting closer to walking full-time in my shoe, so that’s exciting. Every couple of weeks, it’s kind of a new benchmark, a new achievement. So it’s the small wins right now,” Haliburton said.
