NBA preseason: Stephen Curry puts on Warriors show over the Lake Show in Vegas

The Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz, and the Oklahoma City Thunder picked up wins in the NBA preseason.

The Golden State Warriors remain undefeated in the NBA preseason with a 5-0 record, Scottie Barnes tallied a near-triple-double, Jalen Green soars for the Houston Rockets, and more in today's NBA preseason results, Wednesday, October 16 (Philippine time)

Golden State Warriors 111-97 Los Angeles Lakers

Stephen Curry recorded 16 points, five rebounds, and six assists to lead the Warriors in Las Vegas, while Moses Moody added 21 points and five three-pointers.

Anthony Davis had a strong performance for the Lakers with 24 points and 12 rebounds, but LeBron James was limited to 6 points in 23 minutes. The Warriors improved to 5-0, while the Lakers dropped to 1-3.

Oklahoma City Thunder 124-94 Denver Nuggets

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led OKC with 19 points and five assists, supported by Jalen Williams and Isaiah Joe with 14 points each.

Michael Porter Jr. had 15 points for Denver, who played without Nikola Jokic and Russell Westbrook. The Thunder improved to 3-1, while the Nuggets remain winless at 0-4.

Utah Jazz 117-114 Sacramento Kings

Keyonte George (24 points) and Lauri Markkanen (21 points) combined for 45 points in Utah's win.

Domantas Sabonis had a dominant game for Sacramento with 29 points and 16 rebounds, but the Kings fell to 0-4. The Jazz are now 4-1.

Houston Rockets 118-98 New Orleans Pelicans

Fil-Am Jalen Green led the Rockets with 19 points and 6 rebounds, while Alperen Sengun added 12 points. Jordan Hawkins scored 20 points for the Pelicans. The Rockets improved to 2-1, while New Orleans dropped to 1-2.

Miami Heat 120-117 San Antonio Spurs

Bam Adebayoโ€™s 20 points led the Heat at home, with rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. adding 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Jeremy Sochan had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Spurs, while Victor Wembanyama contributed 8 points. Miami improved to 2-1, while San Antonio dropped to 2-2.

New York Knicks 111-105 Charlotte Hornets

Precious Achiuwa had a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds, while Miles McBride made 18 points to power the Knicks past the Hornets.

Brandon Miller led Charlotte with 26 points and 6 three-pointers. The Knicks improved to 4-0, while the Hornets fell to 2-2.

Toronto Raptors 119-118 Boston Celtics

Scottie Barnes was one rebound shy of a triple-double with 26 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists. Gradey Dick added 27 points to lift the Raptors past the Celtics.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for 43 points for Boston. Toronto improved to 2-2, while Boston suffered their first loss at 4-1.
