Toronto would eventually keep the lead the remainder of the game on their way to score their first back-to-back wins of the season.
Chris Boucher poured 22 points off the bench while Jakob Poeltl continued his solid play with a 15-point, 12-rebound double.

Scottie Barnes made his return after missing 11 games due to an eye injury he suffered in their first game of the season and finished with 17 markers, six assists, and three rebounds.

The last time the Timberwolves won a game in Toronto was on January 21, 2004 when Kevin Garnett, Sam Cassell, and Latrell Sprewell combined for 82 points in a 108-97 win. Since then, Minnesota dropped 20 straight in Ontario's capital including tonight.
Julius Randle added 23 markers while Jaden McDaniels poured 22 as the Timberwolves dropped to 8-7.
