Norman Powell and the Los Angeles Clippers went streaking anew this season on the night their former superstar Paul George returned.

Powell collected his seventh-straight 20-point game, helping the Clippers pull away in the second half en route to a strong 110-98 triumph over George and the Sixers on Thursday, November 7 (PH Time).

The 31-year-old accumulated for a team-high 26 markers, spiked on six threes, alongside five rebounds while four other Clippers scored in twin digits.

James Harden had 18 markers, Ivica Zubac added 15, Derrick Jones Jr. chipped in 14 points while Amir Coffey put up 11.

After a tight opening half, the Clippers started to pull away from the Sixers following a decisive 16-2 run to close the third frame holding a 82-68 cushion.

Harden, who was limited to just five first-half points, heated up for 12 points in that stretch.

LA padded the lead to as much as 22 points after a Coffey triple made it a 94-72 game with 9:45 ticks left. The Clippers shot 57%  from the field, recorded 27 assists, and connected on 12 threes.

Meanwhile, George and Kelly Oubre each scored 18 points to pace the Sixers, who now dropped to a joint-worst record in the league at 1-6.

PG scored his first points back in LA since leaving the squad to join Philadelphia in the offseason.

Tyrese Maxey ended up leaving the game late in the third frame after suffering an apparent sore right hamstring injury and poured just 12 markers.

A raucous boos from the LA crowd showered George all-game long starting from the pre-game.

The Clippers also paid tribute to their former superstar with a video package that highlighted George's six-year run with the franchise.

LA will aim for a third straight win when the Clippers square off against the Sacramento Kings next, while the Sixers continue their West coast trip with the Lakers coming up next.
