Another day, another masterful Luka Doncic-LeBron James performance .

Doncic and James combined for 59 points, anchoring a fifth straight LA Lakers win after toppling the Clippers, 106-102, Saturday, March 1.

Playing in the second game of a back-to-back, the Slovenian star poured a team-high 31 points in his first taste of the "Battle of LA" as a member of the storied franchise. 

James contributed a solid 28-point, 11-rebound double-double as the Purple-and-Gold squad improved to 37-21 despite Austin Reaves' early exit due to a right calf soreness. 

Meanwhile, Ivica Zubac went for a strong outing of 27 points and 16 rebounds, while James Harden and Kawhi Leonard combined for 37 but the Clippers (32-27) fell short in the end. 

Both teams will run it back on Tuesday, March 4.
