LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers never won seven straight games this season until now.

James finished with 34 markers on the night he surpassed 50,000 career total points in a 136-115 Lakers domination of the New Orleans Pelicans for a seventh straight win, Wednesday, March 5.

Back in February 2023, James was hailed the NBA's Scoring King, becoming the all-time points leader by reaching the 38,388 mark.

It was in March last year when James became the first NBA player to hit 40,000 points in a regular-season game.

Now, he has hit 50,000 in total, combining his regular and post-season tally, truly becoming a league of his own.

James added another milestone on his legendary career after hitting a three-pointer from a Luka Doncic dime in the opening frame. He also tallied eight rebounds, six assists, and five threes.

Speaking of Doncic, the Slovenian wizard posted 30 markers, 15 dimes, and eight boards on top of six threes to help improve LA’s record to 39-21.

Meanwhile, Zion Williamson took the scoring cudgels for the Pelicans (17-45) with 37 markers while Trey Murphy III added 19.

LA hosts the New York Knicks (40-21) while New Orleans returns home to face the Houston Rockets (37-28).
