Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder had to dig deep to extend their historic winning run.

SGA dropped 29 points and the Thunder overturned a 16-point deficit into a 116-98 rout of the James Harden-less LA Clippers for a 13th straight win on Friday, January 3.

OKC rode a red-hot 42-20 third quarter to blow the game wide open after a slow start en route to setting a franchise record for their most consecutive wins since moving from Seattle to Oklahoma City in 2008.

Jalen Williams added 18 points for the Thunder, who improved to 28-5 and just half-a-game behind the Cleveland Cavaliers (29-4) for the best overall record in the NBA.

Amir Coffey took the scoring cudgels for the Clippers with 26 markers, who played with Harden due to groin injury. They now lost back-to-back games and slipped to 18-15.
