Everything went right for the red-hot Cleveland Cavaliers on the night their most iconic player in franchise history and his son returned.
The Cavaliers spoiled LeBron and Bronny James’ first visit in Cleveland this season with a dominating 134-110 romp against the Lakers to improve to a NBA-best 5-0 record.

Donovan Mitchell added 24 points, his fourth 20-point game of the season, while Jarrett Allen muscled his way with a 20-point, 17-rebound double-double.
Meanwhile, James rebounded from his worst shooting night in 17 years with a team-high 26 points.

The NBA’s all-time leading scorer is now 19-4 against the Cavaliers, who he led to their lone franchise title in 2016.
His son Bronny checked into the game with 5:16 seconds left in the fourth to the delight of the Cleveland crowd. He scored his first official NBA basket off a mid-range jumper with 2:06 seconds left in regulation.

Anthony Davis finished with 22 markers and 13 boards for his third double-double of the season.
Playing against a Western Conference team for the first time this season, the Cavaliers bombarded the Lakers with a barrage of three-pointers all-game long.
The second-best three-point shooting behind the Boston Celtics, Cleveland hit 17 treys and snatched the life out of the Lakers early.
They drilled eight threes alone in the opening period, shot 77% from the field, and rode on Mitchell’s 15-point explosion for a strong 42-23 first quarter.

Cleveland led by as many as 28 points and never let the Lakers got close to as much 13 points in the final three quarters.
The Lakers now dropped their second straight matchup after winning their first three games and will continue their road trip in Toronto to face the Raptors.
