Simply put, everything just went right for Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Mitchell set the tone early and the rest of the Cavaliers followed suit in a one-sided 142-105 rout of the New York Knicks for a sixth straight win, Saturday, February 22.

The All-Star guard got to a fast start, scoring 24 of his 27 points in the opening half on top of five assists and five threes for another masterful performance.

Evan Mobley logged 21 markers, while trade deadline acquisition De'Andre Hunter went 4-for-4 from deep to net 16 points for the Cavaliers, who improved to a league-best 46-10 and a league-leading 26th home win.

On the other hand, the Knicks duo of Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson combined for 49 points but got smoked from the get-go by the well-oiled Cavaliers team to drop to 37-19 with the loss.

New York travels to Boston to face the defending champion Celtics (40-16) while Cleveland targets a seventh straight victory in battling the Memphis Grizzlies (36-19) next.
