In a potential Eastern Conference Finals preview, Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers continued to assert mastery against the newly-crowned NBA Cup champions.

Mitchell logged 27 points and the NBA-best Cavaliers prevailed over the Bucks for the third time this season, chalking up a 124-101 rout for their third straight win, Saturday, December 21.

Darius Garland chipped 16 markers while Evan Mobley and Dean Wade combined for 30 points as Cleveland improved to 24-4 and a league-leading 15-1 record at home.

Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo paced the Bucks with a 33-point,14-rebound double-double three days removed from taking home the NBA Cup Tournament MVP plum.

Khris Middleton added 14 markers off the bench as Milwaukee played without superstar Damian Lillard due to a strained right calf. They fell to 14-12 with the loss.
