No Jayson and Jaylen Brown? No problem for the Boston Celtics.

Kristaps Porzingis registered a strong double-double in just his second game back from an eight-game absence, lifting the short-handed Celtics past the Brooklyn Nets, 104-96, for a third straight dub, Wednesday, March 19.

Porzingis finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds on the night he recorded 900 career blocks, leading the defending champions’ fourth straight season reaching the 50-win mark.

Rookie Baylor Scheierman fired a career-high 20 points spiked on six threes in just 16 minutes while Derrick White added 18 markers, five rebounds, and four assists. Both Tatum and Brown are out dealing with knee issues.

Meanwhile, D'Angelo Russell had 18 points in a losing effort as the Nets dropped to 23-46 and remained 6.5 games out of the East Play-in territory.

The Celtics now embark on a six-game road trip, starting in Utah to face the Jazz (15-54), while the Nets travel to Indiana to battle the Pacers (38-29).
