A 19-8 run in the final frame gave the Lakers a comfortable lead that kept the Spurs at bay. San Antonio fought back throughout the rest of the quarter, but never made it a super competitive game.
D’Angelo Russell scored 22 points and six assists in the win. Rui Hachimura tallied 16 points.
James came back strong after missing the Lakers' last two games to rest his sore ankle, although he played in the All-Star Game in between.
