The late Kobe Bryant will be featured on the cover of NBA 2K24, it was revealed yesterday.
The Los Angeles Laker great and Hall of Famer will be the cover athlete for both the "Kobe Bryant Edition" and "Black Mamba Edition" of the game.

It will be Bryant's fourth time as an NBA 2K featured athlete, having been previously on the cover for NBA 2K10, NBA 2K17 (Legend Edition, and NBA 2K21 (Mamba Forever Edition).
“As we celebrate 25 years of NBA 2K with Kobe Bryant, we commemorate his legacy and the generational impact he has had on the game of basketball,” Greg Thomas, president at Visual Concepts, the game’s developer, said in a statement via ESPN. “While we mark the history of the franchise, NBA 2K24 also looks ahead to the future to bring an innovative leap in technology and the introduction of community-requested features like crossplay.”
NBA 2K24 probably won't be launching until September, but putting Kobe on the cover definitely starts the hype.
