Ja Morant is coming to Manila, and he’s bringing the show with him.
The high-flying Memphis Grizzlies star will make the Philippines the final stop on his “Make Them Watch” tour, capping off his first international journey tied to the upcoming release of his signature shoe.
After stops in China and Japan, Morant will visit the Philippines on August 2 for the final leg of his Asia leg — a major moment for both the Grizzlies star and Filipino fans, as one of the league’s most electrifying players connects with one of basketball’s most passionate communities.

Coming soon.
Morant will spend time with local hoopers in Metro Manila, including high school standouts invited to a special workout session.
He will also headline a “Make Them Watch” exhibition game and explore elements of Filipino culture, from basketball to music and food.
“Basketball is all about work and creativity—putting in that grind but also playing with your own style,” Morant said in a statement.
He added: “I’m excited to pull up and share a piece of my journey with the next generation of hoopers around the world, and I also want to check how basketball is played in their own communities.”
The two-time All-Star averaged 23.2 points, 7.3 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 50 games last season. He missed the last two games of their West opening round playoff series against eventual champions OKC Thunder due to a left hip injury.
