Jonas Valanciunas had 16 points in just 13 minutes as Lithuania edged Kristaps Porzingis and Latvia, 109-105, in a thrilling overtime clash to stay unbeaten at 4-0 in their EuroBasket 2025 build-up.

Rokas Jokubaitis, who top-scored for his squad with 20 points, hit the game-tying basket in the closing seconds of regulation. Porzingis missed a potential game-winner with the score tied at 93-93.

In overtime, Lithuania held the lead early and never looked back to claim their fourth straight win.

Porzingis contributed 22 points and five assists in a losing effort, while Rihards Lomažs logged a game-high 27 markers, including five triples, as Latvia dropped to 0-2 in their own EuroBasket 2025 preparations.

Meanwhile, Simone Fontecchio and Italy also remained unblemished in their pre-tournament build-up after a strong 84-72 victory over Argentina.

Fontecchio netted 19 points and three steals, while Matteo Spagnolo chipped in an all-around performance of 18 markers, six assists, and five rebounds, helping the Azzurri pad their record to a clean 4-0 slate.

Elsewhere, reigning Olympic silver medalist France also preserved their unblemished campaign thanks to a 75-67 victory over reigning titleholders Spain in the first of two meetings between the two European heavyweights.

Jaylen Hoard top-scored for Les Bleus (3-0) with 13 points, while Knicks forward Guerschon Yabusele and 2024 top pick and Hawks star Zaccharie Risacher each added 12 markers.

Former EuroBasket MVP Willy Hernangómez had 15 points to pace La Roja, who fell to 1-2.

Furthermore, Greece rode a strong fourth quarter to deny Montenegro, 69-61, and notch their second win in their EuroBasket 2025 preparations.

After trailing for most of the game, a 24-10 final canto turned the tide as Kostas Mitoglou led the Greeks – still without two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo – with a near double-double of 20 points and nine rebounds.

Bulls big man Nikola Vucevic finished with 13 points and seven rebounds for Montenegro.

Elsewhere, Poland improved to 3-3 in their tournament build-up following a tight 94-89 win over Georgia. Michal Michalak poured in 17 points to lead his squad, as Poland shot 55% from the field to keep Georgia winless in its four matches.

To cap it off, Iceland clinched its first EuroBasket 2025 build-up win after a tight 73-70 decision over Sweden. Jón Axel Guðmundsson led Iceland with 15 points, while Tryggvi Hlinason added a double-double of 10 markers and 12 rebounds.

Pelle Larsson, meanwhile, top-scored for Sweden with 18 points, while Simon Birgander had a double-double of 12 points and 16 rebounds, but they suffered their second loss in three warm-up games.
