Jalen Green scored 34 points to power the Houston Rockets versus the Phoenix Suns, 118-109, to split their season series at two games each.
Bradley Beal returned for Phoenix after two weeks following a hamstring injury but was ejected. He and Green got into an altercation, and Beal was dealt with his second technical foul for the game.

Fred VanVleet finished with 24 points while Alperen Sengun tallied 21 points and 10 boards for the Rockets in the win. Kevin Durant emerged as the top scorer for the Suns with 30, and Devin Booker followed with 24. Royce O’Neal contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

Houston led by 19 after the first quarter, and Green scored 17 points in the first half for a strong Rockets start.

But Phoenix would make it a game and the Suns cut the deficit to 99-98 midway through the fourth quarter on Josh Okogie's layup. VanVleet responded with a 3-pointer to turn back the rally.

The Suns beat the Rockets 110-105 last Thursday and that game featured some incidents, too, with Booker and Houston's Cam Whitmore getting into a minor altercation that ended with technical fouls for both players.
