Olympic gold medalists Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas turned up to watch and later met rookie phenom Caitlin Clark in the Indiana Fever’s 84-80 win against the Connecticut Sun.

Clark finished with 19 points including hitting an early triple that broke the WNBA's rookie three-point single season of 85 previously held by Rhyne Howard.

The former University of Iowa star just amassed 88 triples with 11 regular season games left for Indiana, who now won 14 of their last 22 games. 

Following the game, Clark and her teammates met Biles and Thomas in the locker room in a wholesome moment. 

An owner of seven Olympic golds and 11 medals overall in gymnastics, Biles further commented on the encounter by sharing the video on X, formerly Twitter.

She wrote: "EVERYONE WATCHES WOMENS SPORTS. So happy to be able to go support! My first of many WNBA games"

Thomas, who won three track and field gold medals in the Olympic Games Paris 2024, then revealed in a tweet that she had a blast watching her first WNBA game in person. 

“First WNBA game of many! Had so much fun supporting these stars.” the 27-year-old trackster posted on X. 

Clark also shared her experience meeting Biles and Thomas, posting a five-word response in her Instagram Story.

"Lemme fan girl real quick," Clark posted while sharing a video. 

Indiana are looking to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2016, currently sitting at no. 7 in the team standings with a 15-16 win-loss record.
