Heading into the game, the rookie sensation is tied with Rhyne Howard for the most three-pointers made in a single season by a rookie with 85.
It didn’t take long for Clark to put her name in the record books yet again.
Less than three minutes in the opening frame, she drove to her right, stepped back and buried the historic triple to surpass Howard. Clark would end up adding two triples more to hike her tally to 88 treys made.

Tied at 80, Clark scored on a tough finger roll to put the Fever ahead by two points, 82-80 with under 90 seconds left in regulation.
After a series of Sun’s turnovers and call reviews, Lexie Hull sank two clutch free throws with 19.1 seconds left to ice the game for the Fever.
The win enabled Indiana to remain in the hunt for the playoffs, while sitting at number six in the standings behind a 15-16 win-loss record. They are one game behind the fifth-seed Phoenix Suns (16-15).
Meanwhile, DiJonai Carrington led the way for the playoff-bound Sun with 19 points as Alyssa Thomas and Marina Mabrey combined for 33 points.
With the loss, Connecticut now dropped in joint-second with the Minnesota Lynx with identical 22-8 records in the standings.
