The Sixers hope to get back on the winning track when they face the skidding Suns.

What's up with the Sixers?

The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the hottest teams in the league after the All-Star break. They recently were on an eight-game winning streak before stumbling against the Bulls in double overtime.

Philly, though, was able to get back on the winning track after getting revenge on the Bulls with a 25-point victory before losing to the Warriors today in San Francisco.

Joel Embiid continues to carry the load for the Sixers this season with averages of 33.2 points (which leads the league this season), 10.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.

In the loss to the Warriors, he posted a 46-9-8 for the Sixers. The Sixers have already clinched a playoff spot in the East but hope to climb higher in the standings with a win over the Suns.

What's up with the Suns?

The Suns were showing promise when they got Kevin Durant at the trade deadline. But things haven't been peachy in Arizona as of late.

Phoenix has lost six of its last seven games, the most recent setback at the hands of the third-placed Sacramento Kings.

Devin Booker finished with 32 points in the loss, while Terrence Ross scored a season-high 30 off the pine. Chris Paul had a double-double of 15 points and 13 assists for the Suns, who missed Deandre Ayton as well as Durant.

Currently, the Suns are fifth in the Western Conference standings with a 38-35 record. A win over the Sixers could help them get back on track and avoid slipping out of the playoff picture.
