Despite being a non-bearing game for Denver, Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets capped off their NBA Cup game campaign with their heads held high.

Jokic scored 15 of his 38 points in the final frame as the Nuggets completed a 13-point fourth quarter comeback over the Golden State Warriors, 119-115 on Wednesday, December 4.

Trailing 109-98 with 6:13 left, Denver rode a blistering 17-6 run to tie the game at 115-115 off a Jokic jumper with 1:17 left.

Aaron Gordon then hit two clutch free-throws to give the Nuggets the lead before Jokic iced the game with another pair of freebies.

Michael Porter Jr. added 22 points while Gordon had a solid 15 markers and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 24 markers as Golden State suffered their first loss in the NBA Cup.

Draymond Green was out for the squad after dealing with a calf injury.

Jonathan Kuminga added 19 and despite the loss, the Warriors will advance through the next round against the Houston Rockets.
