The Miami Heat on Monday (PHL time) announced plans to unveil a bronze statue of Dwyane Wade to be put outside the Kaseya Center later this year.
Team president Pat Riley announced the news during the ceremony honoring Wade's induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame, which took place at halftime of the Heat's 104-87 victory against the Charlotte Hornets.

The sculpture will be made by Omri Amrany and Oscar León of Fine Art Studio Rotblatt Amrany.
Wade played 15 of his 16 NBA seasons in Miami, and is the Heat’s franchise leader in points, field goals, assists, steals, and games.
Dwyane’s extensive career also saw him win three NBA titles, including Miami’s first one in 2006 when he won Finals MVP.
