When the moment came, Aaliyah Boston didn’t flinch.

Boston hit the game-winning layup with 7.4 seconds left as the sixth-seeded Fever stunned the third-seeded Atlanta Dream, 87-85 in a win-or-go-home Game 3 to advance to the WNBA semifinals.

With the shot clock winding down, the 2023 Rookie of the Year bailed out Indiana after Odyssey Sims found her wide open inside for the go-ahead basket.

After Sims split two free throws, Atlanta had a chance to win, but Brionna Jones missed a 24-foot 3-pointer at the buzzer.

It was the Fever’s first trip to the semifinals since 2015, when they went on to reach the Finals before losing to the eventual champion Minnesota Lynx.

Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 24 points. Sims added 16 points and eight assists, while Boston posted 14 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists.

Indiana will face the winner of the Las Vegas Aces–Seattle Storm series in the next round.

Allisha Gray scored 19 points to lead Atlanta, which won the series opener before dropping back-to-back games.

The Dream were outscored 38-29 in the second half as their stellar regular season was put to naught.
