On the penultimate game day of the 2025 WNBA regular season, the white-hot Las Vegas Aces became just the fourth team in league history to rack up 15 straight wins in a season.

Meanwhile, the Seattle Storm came through in the clutch, sealing the eighth and final playoff spot with a heroic performance.

  • Las Vegas Aces (29-14) def. Chicago Sky (33-10), 92-61: The white-hot Aces tied the third longest winning streak in league history after pouncing the hapless Sky for a 15th straight win.

Jewell Loyd and Jackie Young scored 15 points each in a balanced effort for Las Vegas, who are still in the race for the no. 2 playoff seed.

  • Seattle Storm (23-21) def. Golden State Valkyries (23-20), 74-73: Erica Wheeler drilled the go-ahead jumper with 19.1 seconds left, lifting the Storm past the Valkyries to clinch the eighth and final playoff spot.

Wheeler came off the bench to fire a team-high 17 points, marking the team’s third postseason appearance in the last four seasons.

  • Indiana Fever (24-20) def. Minnesota Lynx (33-10), 83-72: The playoff-bound Fever closed out their regular season play on high, beating the Napheesa Collier-less Lynx to clinch its third straight win.

Kelsey Mitchell fired 18 points as Indiana finished with a winning record for the first time  since 2015. The team already locked up the no. 7 seed in the playoffs.

  • New York Liberty (26-17) def. Washington Mystics (16-28), 75-66: Emma Meesseman fired 19 points to carry the defending champion Liberty to back-to-back wins at the Mystics’ expense.

Having locked up the no. 5 playoff seed, New York’s most recent win also marked the return of their full and healthy roster, with Sabrina Ionescu coming back from a toe injury and Nyara Sabally playing for the first time since July after recovering from knee issues.

  • LA Sparks (21-22) def. Phoenix Mercury (27-16), 88-83: Behind Dearica Hamby’s 25 points, the Sparks went to Phoenix to shock the playoff-bound Mercury.

Rae Burrell added 20 points, but LA’s postseason push ended after the Storm’s clutch win over the Golden State Valkyries earlier.
