Bucks fend off Curry-less Warriors for second-straight win

The Milwaukee Bucks complete a home sweep in their set of facing the 2022 NBA finalists, taking their second-straight victory after beating the Steph Curry-less Golden State Warriors, 129-118, Sunday (PHL time) at the Fiserv Forum.

 

The trio of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and Khris Middleton powered the Bucks to victory, combining for the team’s 84 points.

 

Giannis led the pack with 33 points, including the alley-oop from Middleton with 1:42 to go that essentially put the Warriors away.

 

 

 

 

Dame finished with 27, while Middleton got 24 points and 10 assists for the Bucks, who improved to 27-12 with a firm grip for the no. 2 spot in the East.

 

Playing the second-half of their back-to-back, Steph Curry missed the game for the Warriors.

 

Instead, Jonathan Kuminga paced Golden State with 28 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Rookie Bradin Podziemski added 23 points, while Klay Thompson finished with 21.

 

The Warriors dropped to 18-21 for 12th place in the Western Conference.
