Andrew Wiggins led the way with 22 points with five other Warriors scoring in double figures as Golden State overcame Luka Doncic's 30-point triple-double to earn a 104-100 win, snapping the Dallas Mavericks’ seven game winning streak.

Wiggins starred on the night he surpassed 13,000 career points in a battle of the West’s hottest teams. The Warriors came out on top, rolling to a fifth straight win after a back-and-forth slugfest at the Bay Area.

The former All-Star connected on a baseline floater to put Golden ahead by seven, 102-95 with seconds left in regulation. Golden State earlier led by 11 points with 7:28 remaining, but the Mavericks tied it at 92-apiece with 4:28 left.

 Needed a bucket

This is before Draymond Green made two huge plays courtesy of a big-time block on Daniel Gafford with 1:30 ticks left before draining a bucket on the next possession.

DRAYMOND REJECTION IN THE CLUTCH ?

As the Mavs closed in one final time with a pair of Kyrie Irving free throws, Klay Thompson hit two clutch baskets from the charity stripe, 104-100, to seal the Warriors win.

Thompson and Chris Paul added 14, Steph Curry had 13, Green and Moses Moody combined for 23 markers. Klay had his fair share of history when he passed Kyle Korver for sixth place in the NBA’s all-time three pointers made and finished with 2,560 on the night.

 Climbing the ranks.

On the other hand, Doncic registered his 20th triple-double of the season with 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists on top of five triples while Kyrie Irving chipped 27 markers.

Dallas roared back after trailing by 13 points, 49-36, in the second frame behind a 13-0 blitz, capped off by a Dante Exum triple, to tie things up with the Warriors at the break.

The Mavericks held the lead for the last time at 74-71 after a Tim Hardaway Jr. jumper with 2:41 left in the third but were unable to take advantage of that stretch as Curry sat the remainder of that stretch.

Rolling at the right time, Golden State (41-34) are now three games ahead of the 11th spot Houston Rockets (38-37) for the final play-in spot. Both teams will face each other on Friday, Manila time, which holds postseason implications for the squads.
